Planning a retirement career
With some time away from working full-time, I have been reflecting on the joy of being alive! I think about my work and how I have moved from doing the work of a dedicated information technology manager. Now I have a portfolio career, where I lecture, write, coach and mentor post graduate students, and enjoy my role as grandmother to my grandchildren. I consider my life now as ‘being’, thriving in doing work certainly but now being in the moment; smelling the roses if you like. In reflecting on your own status now, what are you being? Are you a happy and fulfilled person, or still in transition to planning your career or work as you get older?
