A role model for active ageing

How do you remain fit or even fitter as you age? Your focus is likely to be on both health and fitness. But what else contributes to an active life as you grow older? I suggest it’s about your engagement and connection with the world and community around you. It’s the people you spend time with, engage in activities with and share your thoughts and ideas. Such people may share a like mindedness about relationships, events both local and global and contributing to the wider community. You may volunteer or work part time – whatever you do, you are engaged and contributing.

Think of an older person you know. What do you focus on – their age, their disabilities or lack of community engagement? Or, do you think about their attitude to life, sense of humour and loving family and friends to share with? Do you think about how they have navigated their lives to date and what wisdom do they have to share with you? Seek out those who stay connected and consider them as your role models for active ageing. Who do you know that is or may be a role model for you now?

Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam responses? If so how do you protect against it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it's driving me insane so any assistance is very much appreciated.
