How recently have you reviewed your will?
Over 40% of Australians are reported by the Victorian State Trustees to not have a valid will. This means that many Australians have left the handling of their estate after their death to the State. The lawyers and State Trustees will take their time to decide who receives what and in what proportion. Is it more than three years since you reviewed your will? Reflect on what has happened in this time. Consider the changes that have occurred to the membership of your family; new babies, new partners, change in partners. What has happened to your income, your investments, your work and even your interests? Will you be that group of Australians who have reflected your wishes about your estate so that your loved ones and other beneficiaries will receive what you want? Act now!
