A message from Helene ...
Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit us at Second Half Success. Assisting people to transition positively through changes in their lives is a passion born from personal experience.
My own life transitions began early as I navigated a 20 year career in the fledgling days of the IT industry. I learned to adapt quickly to changing technology and changed companies every two or three years to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
Becoming a single parent in my early thirties brought about a number of challenges on both a personal and career level. I decided to gain professional qualifications to expand my employment options, and managed to complete my Masters degree in Organisational Psychology while working part time and being a mum!
Facing redundancy in 2005 I realised I was nowhere near ready to retire so I created yet another career and lifestyle change for myself. I started my lifestyle planning business and quickly found myself busy working with a range of clients, teaching at Deakin University, consulting to public sector boards of management and coaching senior organisational managers.
I enjoy nothing more than working with people to create constructive and meaningful lifestyle changes – particularly into the second half of life. I’m living proof of the wonderful benefits this transition can bring and the enrichment and satisfaction that comes with ageing well.
I look forward to assisting you as you create your own path to a positive second half.
